except Ozzie Elvis and George/Geordie. Welcome to the home page of our new site! ! We are honored to have you drop by.
I have never had a web page so I will probably make some mistakes. Laugh, with me, at them.
Look at the pictures of our animals on our web site and see if there is an animal that speaks to your heart. Feel free to put in an adoption application even if you haven't seen the perfect pet for you. . | The puppies below are from a pregnant Westie who came into rescue in 07. We were very proud of these pups, our vet said they were some of the best looking and well socialized Westie pups he had ever seen. From top left: Hannah now a part of my daughter and granddaughters family. As a rescue we cannot keep them all but my granddaughter said in the saddest voice "Grandma you always give away my favorite dogs". So she got to pick a puppy for her very own. And of course every little 10 year old girl knows who Hannah is named for !!!! Elivs is the one on the left with the wink, Gracie is far right and she is now a Houston Tx resident accidentally arriving at her new home on her new mom's birthday. We could not have timed it better if we had tried. Last and not least at the bottom of the picture is George (now known as Geordie) . He and brother Elvis live in Illinois not far from St Louis Mo. with a terrific family. Elvis and George have been returned to rescue. The family was unable to keep them. They live in an upscale neighborhood and recieved complaints on the barking. Terriers will bark at anything that moves. George had a very obnoxious shrill bark. When he went to my daughters for one day she too received a call from AC. We discussed this thoroughly with several breeders rescues and vets. The consensus was if he was to be adoptable we had to do something. Next time we may not have such responsible adopters and they may pass him on to someone else, or worst case senario, send him to the pound. So we had him surgically altered to reduce his barking. He still barks but the shrill part is gone. He sounds a bit hoarse now. Please contact us if you are interested in one of these great boys. I will send pics on request, they are being groomed now.
